Epic B2B conference transforms the ivy precinct into a monday.com experience 

While there’s no topping the Opera House as an iconic location, one drawback is that it is limited in terms of custom branding opportunities.&nbsp; So, we started the hunt for a premium venue that we could fully transform into a monday.com haven, complete with a main stage, exhibition floor, breakout rooms, dining options, interactive demo stations and multi-level networking spaces — all fully custom branded and styled from top to bottom. We settled on Merivale’s ivy in Sydney — an inner-city hub that evolves from cafe to fine dining to dance floor all in one day — and set to work on a concept. Braze, a leading customer engagement platform, sought to expand its presence and build brand awareness in key markets, including Singapore. They aimed to generate and accelerate pipeline and bookings whilst providing an opportunity for customers to connect with Braze executives and learn more about their ecosystem and products. Additionally, Braze wanted to showcase how leading brands in the region stay ahead of the curve with exceptional customer engagement strategies.

Background

CAPITAL-e took the reins of the global roadshow event, "City x City," in Singapore. We meticulously planned and executed various elements of the event to achieve Braze's objectives:&nbsp;<ol style="list-style-type:decimal;"><li style="margin-left:80px;">Build Brand Awareness: We designed an immersive experience that showcased Braze's innovative solutions and demonstrated their commitment to customer engagement.</li><li style="margin-left:80px;">Generate Pipeline and Bookings: Our team implemented strategies to attract and engage potential customers, supporting a robust pipeline and accelerated bookings during and after the event.</li><li style="margin-left:80px;">Customer Engagement: We provided a platform for attendees to connect with Braze executives, fostering valuable interactions and enhancing their understanding of the Braze ecosystem and products.</li><li style="margin-left:80px;">Industry Insights: City x City in Singapore featured insightful breakout sessions, where attendees learned how the region's leading brands stay ahead with brilliant customer engagement strategies. What We Did

Our efforts yielded remarkable results of 100% satisfaction. Braze conducted post-event surveys, and 98% of surveyed attendees (as of 30 October, 2023) expressed satisfaction or high satisfaction with the event, reflecting the success of our execution. &nbsp;

What Was Achieved

LinkedIn enlisted our team to host an exceptional event in Sydney called LinkedIn Forward. The event was specifically designed to create value for 300 ANZ and selected APAC customers and prospects, with a primary focus on HR and L&amp;D professionals. Through keynote sessions, specialised breakouts, and executive engagements, our goal was to foster relationships and deliver an unforgettable experience.

Attendees were treated to a wealth of valuable learning and networking experiences through expertly coordinated sessions and breakouts. We implemented innovative practices to elevate the event experience, securing a distinctive non-hotel space in the CBD that provided a refreshing departure from traditional event venues. Our interactive data insights reports captivated the audience, delivering information in a way that was both accessible and engaging. In addition, we transformed 'LinkedIn Forward' into a symbol of the brand's aesthetics, garnering recognition and adoption by the global team.

Unlocking Opportunities: Valuable Learning and Networking

The event yielded remarkable results, far surpassing our initial goals. We received an overwhelming 958 registrations, and the show rate based on pre-event registrations was an impressive 85%. The event's Net Promoter Score (NPS) reached an outstanding 70, demonstrating a high level of attendee satisfaction. The Confidence Index also soared to an impressive 90%. Furthermore, 85% of attendees confirmed that they gained a better understanding of LinkedIn through their participation, exceeding our target of 300 attendees and ultimately reaching 450 participants. The comprehensive event program at The Ivy Sydney offered a multitude of engaging opportunities, including registration, conference sessions, breakout sessions, LinkedIn Lounge, activations, guest speakers, entertainment, and networking.

Datadog engaged CAPITAL-e to help plan, execute and manage the logistics of the Datadog Live conference from venue management and booth creation to invitations, personal transfers and catering. They also wanted an extra set of expert eyes and ears on the ground at the event to support the internal team and attendees.&nbsp; With proven experience in event management in India, CAPITAL-e was ready and willing to step up to the plate and help Datadog deliver its best conference in the country yet. &nbsp;

When monday.com engaged CAPITAL-e to design and deliver Elevate 2023, the pressure was on from the start. They were fresh off a successful event the year before that took place at the iconic Sydney Opera House. Their challenge to us was to top that event.

The mission: Beat the Opera House in 2023

Before we toot our horn, let’s start with the feedback metrics which speak for themselves.&nbsp; The post-event survey found that attendees rated the event a 5 out of 5-star experience, 94% reported learning new skills, and 92% would recommend Elevate to a friend.
